I'm Zafar Mehdi, a filmmaker, cinematographer, and director based in Mumbai, originally from Lucknow. My journey from architecture to filmmaking was a leap toward my true passion: visual storytelling.

Starting with House On The Clouds, a leading wedding film-making company in the World, I developed my skills as a cinematographer and editor before moving on to lead video production at By The Gram (BTG), where I directed, edited and shot different visual narratives for over three years.
 

My transition into fashion and conceptual films has earned international recognition, with my work featured at festivals like the London Fashion Film Festival, Croatia Fashion Film Festival, Istanbul Fashion Film Festival and many others.

Today, as an independent filmmaker, I continue to explore projects that push creative boundaries and welcome collaborations that deepen my craft and storytelling.
